Privacy

Self-OS is a single-user, personal-use application. The owner is the sole user, the sole operator, and the sole viewer of any data.

• Financial data accessed via Plaid is stored only in a private SQLite database on the owner's self-hosted server.
• No third party receives, sees, or processes the data.
• No telemetry, analytics, advertising, or external data sharing of any kind.
• Access to the dashboard is restricted to the owner's Tailscale network. Only the Plaid OAuth callback URL is publicly reachable.
• The owner may revoke any Plaid-linked institution at any time via Plaid's Item Remove API, after which the access token is invalidated.
