Self-OS

A personal financial data pipeline for one user.

What this is

Self-OS is a single-user system that aggregates the owner's own financial accounts via Plaid into a private dashboard. It runs on a self-hosted server, is not a commercial product, has no users other than the owner, and does not share, sell, or display data to anyone else.

Data flow

Plaid Link authorizes connections to the owner's own bank/brokerage accounts.
Transactions, balances, and holdings are synced into a local SQLite database.
Daily snapshots feed a personal dashboard accessible only to the owner via Tailscale.
No third party sees the data. No analytics. No external API beyond Plaid itself.

Privacy

The owner is the only user. The owner is the only viewer. The owner is the only operator. See /privacy for the boilerplate version.

Public surface area

Only the Plaid OAuth callback endpoint is publicly reachable; everything else is restricted to the owner's Tailscale network.
